I am planning to move on to a 5.1 mini hifi (currently own a stereo). I searched the local market to find out that its Panasonic which I find the best. I compared Philips, Sony, Panasonic and Samsung models. I am in India and the model which I had a demo of is SA VK81D. This is a DVD audio-video player and capable of dolby digital and DTS decoding.
I want to know if anyone out here can give me the advice/suggestion of whether to go for it or not. I am not even sure if this model is available on your markets! This is the URL which may help you in analysing it, in case you can't have a live demo in a store near you (
