Panasonic 37" Plasma -- Higher Mount Stand

I am close to purchasing the Panasonic 37PX50U. I cannot mount on the wall, so I will be using a stand to place on top of an existing piece of furniture. I am looking for a stand on which this TV can sit higher. The piece of furniture I will be using does not have a place for the center channel speaker along with the components, so the center speaker will be resting in front of the TV. The stand that accompanies the TV has a clearance of about 3 1/4 inches. Most center channels are between 4 and 5 inches tall.

I've seen the Premier SVL swivel Mount ($500), and that appears to have a high mount, but is a little pricey.

Can anyone recommened a silver stand on which this particular TV can sit higher?

Sorry, cant help with the stand.
But you may also want to look at the new panny model 37PX60U that just came out. I believe the MSRP is also lower than the PX50U.

Its not out just yet. Another month or so. MSRP is about 2200.

panasonic website says MSRP $1999.
some dealers are saying they have available for delivery.
Who knows, maybe they dont.

Yes -- I should've mentioned I was likely going to wait for the 60U. I was at Circuit City today and they said they should have the 60U in the next month.
