PA senators refuse to seat Democrat

I've heard it's all just theatre for Trump, but I don't see any reason to believe they wouldn't if they can get away with it. Hopefully once the 20th passes it will all be smooth sailing, but I also think the Dems are being naive if they don't expect the worst as a starting point.

One Virginia democrat pointed out that it goes beyond Trump: because Republican think their policies/ideals are objectively better than the Democrats that they can justify in their minds (along with Trump's influence) doing this. This is what I'd been trying to say but failed for a long time. Who cares because we know better. Are more virtuous.
