Oyaide Receptacle/Wall Plate Combination</B> is constructed with the most exacting tolerances. The Wall plate is machined from a 13mm thick solid bar of pure aluminum and designed to act as an anti-resonance device for the housed receptacle. The receptacle body (swo-xxx) is oversized glass filled nylon and the contacts are made from pure deoxidized phosphor –bronze. The contacts are polished twice between and following each plating process; first plated with 1.5 micron 24k gold then .3-micron palladium. The front of the receptacle finishes with a 1.3mm thick carbon fiber cover plate insuring a static free environment. Polishing, combined with extremely high-tension contacts, insures better transfer with less micro-arching and heat generation. <Br>This is a must try device which is also the building block for all power cable upgrades.
