I just heard about this today, seems pretty quiet.

Allegedly he tried to OD on pills at his home in California, August 26 2007.

From what I've heard, he used to have a drug problem. The article states he didn't over dose, but may have mixed drugs. Anti depressants and something that may have been in his system at the time.

Anyone else hear about this?

It's sad that he must have been that depressed. I really enjoy his acting, and I'd suspect that he's a pretty popular guy. Just a reminder that popularity doesn't equal happiness, I suppose. Hopefully he gets better.

Secondly, maybe its just me but I don't give a flying F*** about celebs and all their BS. I just want them to keep entertaining me. Why is it that people feel the need to know every second of these peoples lives?

Good question! However, many of them probably wonder why anyone would feel the need to be interested in A/V equipment...let alone spend time discussing it online. The beauty of diversity, my friend. While it inherently causes friction, it also inspires creativity and change.

At least with a hobby we actually do something instead of memorizing facts about people who don't matter anymore than the rest of us .

I read about it on a few different news sites.

Doesn't seem like there's much to say about it, though. It was just an attempt and details are sketchy.
