I recieved my new Model 770 Amp yesterday.

Initial thoughts.
1. It weighs 90 pounds, absolutely no fun moving around.
2. It will definitly amplify unwanted 60 Hz hum. You need to ensure your incoming TV cable is not grounded common to it. Once I isolated it from common ground with the incoming TV cable the 60 Hz hum is gone.
3. Reasonably low noise floor (low distortion).
4.Quality Build and Components. It's built by ATI.I opened it up and verified that.
5.It has a laid back sound.
6. Mark Levinson, Krell, Halo have nothing to fear with this amp.
7.For the price it's difficult to fault.
8.It is a decent sounding amp with power to spare.
9.I am confused to the fact that the longer it is burned in the less deficiencies I seem to hear? I have never before found merit in burn in. It could be that I'm working out other connection deficiencies etc.?
10. When considering quality build, sound and output, I think most audiophiles will enjoy using it.
11.If you are novice, do not attempt to set this amp up yourself. You'll probably mistakenly return it to OutlawAudio.
12. In closing, it is a big bad amp that most will enjoy! :)
