I have connected the sub to OSD Wireless kit since 6 months after finally giving up on Outlaw OAW wireless that gave me grief for so long.
Recently, I am hearing low popping sounds when no low freq is transmitted or in between scenes with them. Dont know if it is interference with my wifis or other signals in the house but can hear them audibly while sitting next to sub. Its like popcorn popping, dont know what the cause is.
Could it be the Receiver? OSD wireless kits turned out to be more reliable than Outlaws. Also, I have checked all the cables and have not found a bad cable. Sub LFE is on a high quality sub cable while transmit end at receiver is on a 3mm-RCA that came with the kit. Both cables are aok.

Either something is leaking transmission into the OAW receiver's frequency band, or the OAW receiver is sloppy and is picking up stuff outside the band it is supposed to be. It can happen when you have a lot of wireless stuff around. Did you acquire something recently that broadcasts wireless that maybe coincided with the start of the popping noises? If you live in a densely populated area, it might be something that the neighbors just added.

You will probably either have to scrap the OAW get another wireless subwoofer signal system or go with a wired connection.

Thanks much. I have changed somethings on my wifi router let's see if it helps... Will observe a few days for the intensity and frequency of these pops..
