outlaw 2220 amp cooling maybe

Hello,

Thanks to recommendations from this thread – I am waiting to receive 3 outlaw 2220 amps.

I didn’t want to buy the amps – I had to.

They will be placed side by side on top of a tall shelf (with open sides & front) which only has about 5 inches of clearance between top of amp and ceiling.

Wondering if they will stay cool enough or if I should throw a fan on top of each of them ?

Fans would probably be AC infinity (S4 -18db - 5”) fans run off an infinity fan/controller on top the AVR.

Wondering if it would be too noisy and or overkill ?

Also amp(s) are driving 6ohm speakers with decent efficiency.

The 2200s I use barely get warm during even spirited sessions. They are known to run relatively cool. I would suggest setting them up and checking on them and hour or two into a session and see for yourself. I suspect you will be fine without.
