Outlander (Blockbuster Exclusive)

I was hesitant about renting a Blockbuster exclusive SciFi DVD because there is so much cheesey stuff on the SciFi channel and I thought this might be one of them. I took a chance and rented Outlander anyway and it is pretty good. Good story, good special effects, good acting (no major stars), good aliens, good monsters, good Vikings. If you are in the mood for a good SciFi, it is worth a rental. I don't want to say anymore and spoil the plot.

I watched this via Netflix in early October, and I have to admit.....it was a hoot!!!


Are we talking about the same movie? The Outlander I watched isn't a blockbuster exclusive. It was in theaters, albeit for a very brief period and a limited release. (81 theaters at it's widest point)

I thought it was a very fun sci-fi fantasy, and I recommend it to fans of this genre. I gave it a 4-star rating in netflix. Pretty cool movie...IMO.

I liked it a lot. The CGI creature looked like garbage but the rest of the movie was pretty good.
