Outdoor speaker recommendations

I am thinking of adding a couple of speakers on my deck and run them from zone 2 of my AVR. Does anyone have any recommendations on outdoor speakers? I have looked at Paradigm Stylus and the KEF Ventura so far but would like to see a few more.

Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with these models to share?

Thanks.

I've had my Paradigms for 6 years and they're great. I've also heard good things about Klipsch & Def Tech.

I have six JBL 29AV-1 speakers and the matching sub. I researched a lot of outdoor speakers and listened to several, and I felt the JBL's were superior for my purposes to any others I considered. I wanted to be able to play music at reasonably loud decibel level and not sacrifice clarity 50-75 feet away from the house for summer parties and for when we're just outside hanging out or working in the garden. The downside is yes they are large, but that wasn't a problem for my applications. You don't need the sub with the 29AV-1's. They are large and expensive, but they can produce accurate and loud music if needed. I've used one pair out in front of my house for a month playing Christmas music to go along with the lights and they performed beautifully in some pretty rough weather too without any trouble. If you want more info, click the link in my signature embedded in the 29AV-1 text.

Niles

Ditto Niles, if you can find them. I have had a pair of Niles OS-10s for over a decade, and they still sound great. Had them painted when I got the house repainted and now they look really great too! They are no longer in production and weren't cheap when new, but you'll find them hard to beat for sound quality and durability.
