seeing as the thread i started got outta hand and closed, i figured i'd give you all an update on the case.
i have been in contact with paypal for a couple weeks now and they required i get some documentation showing the reciever was not as it should be. i went to an authorized Yamaha repair shop and got it checked out. faxed the info to paypal, and i have been granted my money back when the seller recieves the item. so i guess in the end it paid off.
