Whats the chance on doing an update on the Best Bang for your Buck area?
I'm doing a major upgrade from a Sony system to Denon + RBH (over the moon about Denon's software upgrades), but still in the dark regards best display's. Presently running a widescreen Sony for general viewing and a Infocus projector for movies.
The last year has seen a huge leap in technology regards formats and display systems so I'm assuming that there may be a change or two.
No need to change the Popcorn Maker though!

Keep up the good work Team!

B&W 600 series or Axiom's are the top picks around here for speakers.

With all due respect GreenJelly, I don't think that B&W 600 series are recommended anywhere near as much as Axioms, etc... I have seen you recommending them a lot, but that does not = should be on the "bang for the buck our pics on what to buy list." Now, of course you are free to have your own opinion, etc... but I don't agree that the B&W 800 series are a good bang for the buck. :) Personally, I don't think that Audioholics ought to have recommended systems, b/c so much of this hobby is dependent on subjective opinions.

--I want to be clear that this is not an attack on you or anyone else, as you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that.

I would suggest that there are a variety of personal choices here, including yours as mentioned above, and leave it at that. Does that work for you?

Yes, I could certainly have used a more updated bang-for-buck selections during my HT selection process that concluded just a few weeks back :(

You guys need to update that section more than just once a year!

Having said that I went with the M60 Axioms and based a lot of my selections on the 5K system.
