Other options besides drilling into a wall?

So I'd love to not drill into my wall. I have 2 bookshelft speakers on wall mounts and if possible, i'm looking for something to cover the wires, other than drilling and dropping the line.

Is there anything out there that helps hide speaker cables against a wall?

There is speaker cable that is paper thin and has an adhesive backing. You can paint it once placed on the wall. You can even float joint compound over it to completely hide it. Do a google and you'll find it

Can anyone comment on the quality of these cables? as I have the same plan to run cables inside the wall...and thought to run heavy duty speaker cables before.

What? Your questions don't seem to have anything to do with what is being discussed. What do you mean by "heavy duty"? For in wall you need wire that is at least UL/CL3.

Really Why don't you want to drill into the wall? Is it an apartment? I run my cables along the bass board. I'd replace the base board with a grove for speaker wire but I don't own. Ideally I'd want to wire through the attic though. For that You can get a face plate and box. Mount it like anything you would run through the wall.
