I haven't seen this topic. As I design my head end in my new house I count 24 units that need to be powered. Many with the awful large transformers that chew up space on the power strip. Has anyone come up with a solution other than lots of powerstrips or octopus liberators?

My solution to organizing all the power leads was to buy an HPC H10 power conditioner but with 24 leads that just won't do it and I don't know what will. Maybe a combination of a power conditioner with 12 outlets and a few smaller power strips. If you have an actual stand that houses the AV equipment and TV you could mount the power strips to the back using some of the 3M command adhesive products instead of drilling holes.

Aside from the power, you can use Velcro cable ties (available from Home Depot for about $5) to keep all the cables, cords and wires routed neatly. They look nice and tidy for very little money.

With 24 units you will need something along these lines. I use power strips up and down each of my three racks. Each of the strips is connected to it s own on line UPS.
