[ As posted in Audioholics on-line trade magazine dedicated to hopelessly outdated stereo equipment and the arcane debates that go with it. ]
To get the best sound from any turntable (some people call them record players but I'll refrain from doing that here) one must establish the proper tonearm weight. This requires Scotch taping a penny to the shell of the tonearm mount. The secret is to pick a clean penny so as not to pollute the music and then tape it on using brand new store bought Scotch tape that you've intentionally removed from the back of the store display peg, thus guaranteeing the freshness of what I'll call our musicality and staging enhancer. That's it for now. May you have as few clicks and pops and possible. Until next time - when we discuss vacuum tubes versus transistors. Wayne Reses @wreses . #wreses .

LOL. I thought nickels were better....but with a bit of a patina for just a bit extra.

I go to the big lake with my boat when I want to troll. Some apparently prefer to come here with their keyboard.
