Hi to everybody

I'd like to buy a 5.1 speakers set to complete with a Yamaha RX-A3040 and I'm considering this two options:

  • Dali Opticon option:
    • 2 x Dali Opticon 8
    • 2 x Dali Opticon 2
    • 1 x Dali Opticon Vokal
    • 1 x SVS SB13-Ultra

  • Sonus Faber Venere option with:
    • 2 x Sonus Faber Venere 3.0
    • 2 x Sonus Faber Venere 2
    • 1 x Sonus Faber Venere Center
    • 1 x SVS SB13-Ultra
Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot :)

I take that OP is from Europe? Dali's are hard to find in colonies. If so, I'd recommend to checkout these ID brands:
XTZ Sweden and british BKElek subwoofers.
But out of your choices, I'd go with Dali system over SF

I have heard a bunch of different speakers from both Dali and Sonus Faber, and they all sounded fine to me. I don't remember the exact sound character of these speakers, so don't ask me for specifics, but unless you are very picky about sound, I think you would enjoy either. One speaker I do remember which really impressed me were some Dali Epicon tower speakers, but they were very expensive.
