Hi, Newbie question, hope i'm in the right forum.
Have a mac pro in the back room of the house and would like to connect the optical audio out on mac to optical audio in on sony receiver. run is 15-20 meters. both have toslink style connectors.
i have read that a quartz strand is required for a run this long without using a repeater. would anyone venture to recommend good place to buy such cable or a quality manufacturer to go to?? thanx, jeff
