OPPO-93 with LG 65LW6500 in 3D

Hello All,

I sometimes experience an interesting issue with my Oppo93 and my LG 65lw6500. If appears my Oppo93 receives a signal from the TV letting it know the tv is 3d capable. The TV detects a 3d signal and displays a warning to put on your 3d glasses. Once you hit ok, it accepts and displays the 3d signal. It also send a signal back to the Oppo letting it know it is a 3d tv.

Here is where the issue occurs. If I don't turn on the TV and then the Oppo and wait for the signal, the Oppo assumes the TV is 2d and then it will not send the 3d signal. The only way I have found to get it into 3d mode is to turn the oppo off and back on. Is there a way with the Oppo93 to force it into 3d mode?

Check the menu on your LG tv for Simplink. If it is on turn it off. This feature can cause these types of errors.

I will scroll through the menu and check the setting. I will report on what I find and if that fixes the issue.

I had been traveling for Work and got a chance to check it last night. The Simplink was 'off'.
I just downloaded a firmware update for the oppo and will see if I continue to have the issue. (slim chance of a fix, but I am an optimist.)
