Oppo 93 and IR Repeaters (Speakercraft)

Anyone been able to make the BDP93 work with a speakercraft IR repeater? Could tape a blaster to the front, but would rather use the IR in jack.

You should contact Oppo and see if they are still using the same setup as the BDP-83. If so you should not use a standard 3.5mm mono cable. They sent me a cable for a nominal cost that is setup to work correctly. If you use a standard cable it may damage the unit.

Just spoke to their tech support. Should work with the cable I'm using (needs to be a Mono 1/8). They're going to research and get back to me in a couple week.s Guess I'll have to tape a blaster on the front for now.
