Opinions Sought On Some Specific Speakers

I am still working on what to replace my Paradigm Mini Monitors with in my 2.1 system. The Rocket UFW-10 sub has been here for about a month, a great little sub.

Stopped by my B&M and they are still in the middle of renovations, so no auditions. They will let me take the floor models home and demo them which is fine, but I need to narrow it down some. I scouted around the net and I have not be able to get the reviews I hoped I could find. Budget is up to $800, natural full refined sound (yes, I of course want it all), they will be played as small and crossed over at 80Hz or less depending. Anywho, comments appreciated:

JM Labs Focal Cobalt 806S $600. Bookshelf From what little I could find it's supposed to be a pretty refined speaker that may a bit on the bright side.

JM Labs Chorus 715S $800. Tower Could not find out much about this one.

JM Labs Chorus 706S $550. Bookshelf. Really nice looking ;) Found one brief mention about it. It was positive.

There was also a JM Labs Profile 908 that I did not consider because I did not think is was very attractive. I did read some reviews that rated it very highly. I may have to reconsider it. I don't remember price, but I think it was close $800 or $900.

In case I am wrong about Klipsch and unrefined sound at this price point, these are priced very attractively.

Klipsch RF25 $317 Tower. Surprisingly little I could find about this. I am guessing a run of the mill bright Klipsch.

Klipsch RF35 $400 Tower Again not much I could find other than the generic Klipsch bright comments.

Comments please. Thanks!

I would vote for the profile 908 it's an amazing speaker, but you should probably check that price tag again. It retails for around $2300, so if you really saw it for $800 that's the one to go for. Other than that, I would still stick with JMLabs as opposed to the budget line Klipsch for the kind of sound you're looking for. Also as rikmeister said, plenty of bargains are available on Audiogon.

Bookshelf speaker options

If you are happy with the build quality and performance of the Onix sub, you should consider a pair of the Onix Reference 1 bookshelf speakers in the matching rosewood. I am enjoying mine in a 2 channel system and you can find them on Audiogon for <$600.
If you like the paradigms but are looking for more, also consider the Studio 20's new or used.
