opinions on polk audio psw108?

Polk Audio 10" 100-Watt Powered Subwoofer (PSW108) : Subwoofers - Future Shop

i got $100 in my pocket and while i cant decide whether that going to a sub for my moms van or for my room, i know its going towards a sub... a good one.

so anyways, anyone here ever heard one or own one?

I'd rather go with 12" monoprice sub, if shipping wont kill price

the my guess is that with shipping it will cost about the same, and the monoprice has the port on the back which probably wont work well in my room
