What would you do? $4000 including the receiver. Living room, 3 walls, 11' x 10' x 9' ceiling. I rarely listen to music.
If it matters, the sub is going into the cubby hole of a media center I'm building. It'll be 2' off the floor and the other side of the wall is my bedroom. I'm in a condo, I want a good sub but I don't want complaints!
I have a Klipsch 300 system, not crazy about it. Tried Bose Acoustimass 10, loved it, don't love the proprietary wiring so that's out. At a store, I preferred Paradigms MilleniaOne 2.0 to Def Tech ProCinema 600. A Paradigm system means the center channel is just a satellite turned sideways, weird. Was leaning towards better Def Tech speakers - Promonitor 1000 - but I don't know what they sound like.
As for the receiver, I'm getting a 2015 Samsung 8500 so the receiver should be 4k compatible.
