Would you recommend this subwoofer for a home theater?

In short. no. It’s rated down to 35hz. A good HT sub should be rated down to 20hz or lower. It will be loud, but it’s really made for bass guitars and kick drums/big toms.

THe price is low. And I'm looking for a low-priced subwoofer for outdoor karaoke.
I'd rather have deeper extension for HT myself, but it is probably more suitable for mobile/outdoor music applications like your karaoke....and the brand Rockville has low prices for a reason....

Thanks all. I'll search around for a well-known brand. I want to pay once.

For that purpose it would probate ok. Not super familiar with the brand though, so I would look for something from JBL. FB marketplace might be worth a look too. Used can be a great way to go.

Keep in mind that dual subs are often simply better....altho if only concerned with one seating position one can suffice.
