Well so you don't get too depressed ;) I will at least ask you a question. When you turn the receiver back on is it still in the same Mode? What I mean is if it is in Dolby Digital when you shut it off is it still in that mode when you turn it on? Also when you turn it back on is there any change in what the reciever shows on the display?

No it runs 2EQ setup then volume is fine on the playstation 4 then turn it off and after a while i turn it back on volume is much lower and its very noticeable.

I'm not sure if this is actually a source problem, i don't know if i wanna play with intelli volume either to fix it i'm afraid of clipping my signal which if heard is really really bad.

If never blown any speakers in my life though i don't wanna risk anything.
I did mail onkyo they did't respond yet.

While at it if 2EQ setup is done and i check decibels with a spl meter like one thats rated for 30hz to 4.000 khz dBc

Each speaker avg out roughly around 73.5 dBc except the subwoofer which is picked up at 68 dBc avg
Is my subwoofer set to low ?

Yes it is, its quite weird i am not sure whats happening.
When i was at old place i needed -14 volume for certain movies, at the new place for a small time when i had center speaker up a box and couch much closer i needed -20 -26 volume which was loud.

Now i moved couch back even more and center speaker more back sitting on a center speaker bracket, but now i need -14 volume again and its not always that loud.

I'm pretty sure my 4 jamo s606 should be capable to be very very loud at 60 hz with the help of my dual pb12nsd dsp subwoofers.

at -22 i only get about 65 dB avg while around -14 i get 72 dB avg and at around 0 and no further atleast i get about 82 dB avg

From what if understood -22 supose to give 75 dB avg

and speakers are calibrated at 72 dB on each channel except the subwoofer is set to around 68 dB

If no idea to do and onkyo is't even responding to my mail yet......... i'm already 100% sure i wont buy onkyo trash ever again.

They just responded, they kept asking for serial number i had no idea where to find it send it now, waiting for another response now.

Anyway had idea my amp was die'ng cos kept hearing a weird noise started a ps4 stream then checked on another computer playing same audio played exact same weird noise.
I'm getting quite paranoid.

but according to some info i found if you put thx receiver on volume 0 aka reference it should play at 82 Db avg which it did with some my little pony song around -5 0 volume, while it should be around 75 dB at -22 volume which i think it does not.

I downloaded a sound meter app now on tablet checked dB level's each speaker is perfectly calibrated at 75 dB

while my spl meter reads 72 dBc the sound meter app being say'd calibrated around dBa but its not acurate at all i think unless its playing pink noise.

acording to some image i found of internet with freq response on the jamo s606 should't really have any issues either so i think audyssey is setting the speakers to low possibly.

Whenever the AVR is acting funny doing some unexplained things...
RESET the processor, just like a PC frequently the internal memory becomes corrupted. Note that U will need to reprogram the station presets and rerun Audyssey.
Try it and post back the results..

Just my $0.05... ;)

I did that already, even updated firmware, apparently onkyo does't release update anymore via net due issues.

My center speaker is being detected at 50 hz and i set it back at 80 hz its rated for 75 hz, volume issues started when moved center speaker more against wall but i don't really have a choice.

i got a feeling it may be that, but since its sitting on a bracket that hangs on the tv i don't feel safe moving tv from the wall.

This may be an Onkyo issue. Mine does this as well. I've given up running the automatic setup now. I just wrote down what the settings were after the auto setup and my fine tuning. The auto setup never got it quite right. For some reason every speaker was set to -7 or -9. I had the volume at mid-level for the initial set up. Off/on it will change everything and turn on various settings after turning the system off. I leave it on most of the time now. It sucks, so now I need to buy a new model I think. I'm reading ATMOS might be coming out soon?

except the subwoofer is set to around 68 dB
That may or may not be normal depending on the tone and meter used. If you use a non pink noise tone with a Radio shack kind of meter, the readings will vary with the frequency of the tone. Radio Shack meter does offer a compensating table for that purpose. Regarding the other issues, you have lots of response already so hope that helps.

My settings look pretty normal like -4 left -2 center -2 right -8 rear left -4 rear right for example -4 subwoofer

Not 100% sure about the subwoofer but if i boost it to 0 my neighbours below also start hearing it and it gets little bit boomy aka bit to loud.
Since if moved my front towers rear port few inches of the wall it seems to do quite well with bass response, it used be much worse.

Should i use dynamic volume light when i use high volume like -14 -10 or eve 0 ?

So far if found that dynamic volume non sounds best while dynamic volume light over boost voice range way to much making it way to punchy, old place room was quite dead, lots absorption but not my current place, tons reflections though i got used to that now i think, i don't hear my own voice reflect anymore of the walls in the room.

Well i found out whats causing low volume now, which means i have question regarding it.

Should i use loudness plus dynamic volume light and dynamic EQ together ?

Think loudness plus does same as dynamic volume, but i don't know if its good stacking all these 2 3 options together.

Also watched movie at reference volume yesterday with loudness plus turned off dynamic volume turned off, sound really came to live.
