Onkyo TXSR705 , or Marantz SR5001 ,on sale(help appreciated)

Cambridge Soundworks has the Onkyo 705 on sale for $639,and the Marantz 5001 for $550,I new to this game,and the deals look good.Which should I jump at?

The 705 is a brand new model with all the latest surround processing modes, and connectivity options that the Marantz unit doesn't provide. Powerwise, they are probably about the same. Marantz makes a great AVR, but the
5001 is being discontinued, which is why you can get it so cheap. Accessories4Less has the 5001 even cheaper by close to 100 bucks.

With that said, what components do you plan on using ?

I like Marantz receivers and if it had all the features I wanted, I'd go with it. I don't think you can go wrong either way though.
