I have the 2309 installed in my bedroom, i will have in my possesion an Onkyo 805 (which i traded some old speakers for).
my 2309
has 4 HDMI ins and 1 out.
onkyo 805
has 3 HDMI ins and 1 out
is a higher model receiver
older than my 2309
i use 3 HDMI sources. and have an external amp.
should i re-sell the 805 or sell my 2309?
I also have a 3808 from my HT (that's currently dismantled due to conversion to a kid's room). i could also use that while i don't have an HT or second system yet.
help? comments and opinions?
also, if the 805 is presented with DTSHD/DolbyMA, it will flag it as such or will it show LPCM?
(got confused by onkyo USA's feature list which says "HDMI 1.3 repeater", but is followed by the HD formats "decoding")
