<font color='#000000'>I have recently purchased my TX-SR800 and I am quite happy with the return on investment. &nbsp;I am in the process of adding a back speaker for 6.1 surround. &nbsp;As I have only one speaker but right and left back speaker posts on the receiver, I am curious as to which post to attach to. &nbsp;My manual does not address this issue as all diagrams and documentation refer to two back speakers. &nbsp;Purchasing a 7th speaker is not an option. &nbsp;Does anybody has any experience with this situation? &nbsp;I am surprised that Onkyo does not address this as it seems like this would be a common circumstance.</font>

<font color='#000000'>Looks like the L or R post for the back surround will work fine with only one speaker. &nbsp;That would make sense as both posts share the same signal in 6.1 surround.</font>
