Onkyo TX-SR707 Audio and Video Cutting out

I am a new to the troubleshooting side of things. So I apologize in advance for my verbiage. I have an Onkyo TX-SR707 and I seem to be having issues with the video and audio cutting in and out. It is connected via HDMI to Comcast's Cisco RNG 200, PS3 and a Wii. And to Samsung LED 46" 8000 series via HDMI. PS3 and Wii work fine. Issue is while watching any channel it will cut on and off. Also does the same if you are watching something from the DVR as well. Acts just as if you changed inputs. No pattern, may work for 5 min or maybe 30 min then it cuts in and out. Have noticed the display on receiver says Dialog Nor and then changes back to TV with Direct just below.

Have tried switching HDMI inputs and same thing.
Tried switching HDMI cables as well and same thing.

Thoughts have been that signal from Comcast could be changing and causing this. Just not sure.

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Call/Email Onkyo they may fix it for free. It might be HDMI failure. Make sure they Don't have anything on top of the receiver. Receivers need the air.

^^^ They are fixng the HDMI problem and it sounds like yours is going through that problem. Go to this link and click on new or refurbished and follow the directions to find out if your receiver is eligible for the extended warranty.
