Onkyo TX-NR696 questions...

Just setup my Onkyo TX-NR696 receiver (7.1 w/1 sub) & I noticed all 3 presets for the equalizer are all flat across the board. DO folks normally just leave it alone or adjust manually? If you adjust, what are your settings?
Also, when playing music from my thumb drive via the rear USB port, I noticed that I can only randomize the play of songs in 1 folder at a time. Is there a way to set it to play all songs on the entire drive in random order?

Use of an equalizer is fairly subjective, tweak to your preference. Some don't use equalization at all but any one's particular settings would be relative to their room/speakers/preference....so not much use to anyone else.

Seems you already have the answer to what your avr can do for randomizing content on your drive. Maybe put all your music in one master folder? I see this spec in your manual: Up to 20,000 tracks per folder are supported, and folders can be nested up to 16 levels deep.
