Onkyo turntable preamp?

My wife's Onkyo receiver gave up the ghost (think it's a relay) and I've hooked up the CP-1046F turntable to my Pioneer. The output is way low so I figure the turntable isn't putting out the same signal as most components (old school phono style). I don't see a selection for a pre-amp anywhere on the outside of the turntable. Does anyone know if this turntable has an internal pre-amp that can be turned on?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Odds are it doesn't have a built-in preamp.

Very few turntables, particularly better ones, come with built-in preamps nowadays. Even fewer had then 20 years ago when that TT was made.
