Ok, i found this sub at a yard sale for 40 bucks. I'm gonna use it to hold me over untill i can spend a little more for a better one.

So, my question is, is this a decent hold me over sub?

As long as it doesnt sound like 40 dollar sub ^^ Like he said if sounds good to you then it was worth it .
