Onkyo Rcvr TX-SV515PRO

Hi, I am a novice and hope you can answer in layman's terms. I need to hook up the audio from my Dell LCD HD TV (Model # W3706MC) to my analog Onkyo (Model # TX-SV515PRO) A/V control tuner/amp. I hope I've given you enough info and if so, can you help?? Thank you!!!

Does the LCD TV have analog audio outputs (most do)?

If so just connect analog audio cables from the TV's audio out to any analog input on the receiver. That model is fairly old (circa early '90s - I once had an SV525). My SV525 had a special input (probably labeled 'TV') that would turn the receiver on when it sensed a signal from the TV.

HI and thanks so much for your reply, MDS! On this particular model, there are no audio outputs labeled 'analog.' However, on the left side of the rear, there are 4 unused connectors: 1-'S-video' 2-'video (yellow) 3-'left' (white) and 4-'right' (red). The only 'audio' outputs are 'PC audio out (green)' and a 'Digital Audio Out' with 2 connections: 'coaxial' and 'optical.' I'm hoping this additional information will be of some help. Thanks again!!
