I was hoping you'd get the hint that that was a much too simplistic question!

No. 5: "Need more INPUT!"

Unless your unknowledgeable, you do need a power amp if you want to hear anything through speakers if you have those.

It's funny because my 1st system, 28 years ago, started with a preamp and headphones.:D

Ooops I meant to ask how is that setup compared to 875/876?

Off the top of my head, you would get balanced XLRs and Audyssey Pro capability. I'm not sure that you would get much of anything else. I mean, even the 876 has dual HDMI outputs? It does have Reon, ISF controls, XT, dyn vol/eq.

Otherwise, the 875/876 gets you an amplifier! :p

Amazing deal!

Hi,

The Onkyo PR-SC885P is an excellent choice to pairing with an external power amp(s). And it is also in sale right now at "shoponkyo.com" for the incredible low price of just $549, with free shipping. This is the deal of this century.

Cheers,
