I was wondering if you guys can answer this question: I'm going to get a Onkyo MC35TECH mini system and a Yamaha YST-SW215 Subwoofer for Xmas. My future little system has a Sub Pre Out and the Yamaha has a L & R inputs (Left being the mono). Then I noticed a little note in the sub manual saying "If the amplifier has only one set of PRE OUT terminals, do not connect the subwoofer to the PRE OUT terminals. Instead, connect the subwoofer to the speaker output terminals of the amplifier."
But at the same time, the subwoofer manual has a graphic of a single RCA cable going from the Amplifier Sub Low Pass to the input L mono of the subwoofer. What do I have to do to get the best of the sub? Is this the way to connect it? I want to use this little system for MUSIC ONLY. Thanks
