Hi all,
I recently bought the above system and im having a few problems,
i have it connected to sky HD through an optical cable and a HDMI cable,the problem in keep having is with the sound,the only way i can hear anything is if i turn the plugs off to evrything and let it all reboot,the amp then recognises it and works,any ideas why?

You don't need the optical cable. Sky boxes now pass video and audio via HDMI. May be you need an updated box?

Sky boxes though, like all satellite and cable boxes are notorious for HDCP code repeater handshake issues though.

This outfit is largely to blame.
