Hello, I am new here and I am just starting to learn tips and tricks with Home Theatre set-up. I just purchased a Onkyo HT-S5200 A/V receiver (7.1 ch. surround). I connected the unit and ran the "speaker check" test and everything was fine. When I play a DVD, or watch a movie on TV, only one of the rear surround speakers is working? Is this normal or have I connected something up wrong or need to adjust a setting somewhere?
Thx
Kev

No it is not normal. Read your instruction book, all of it, and read it enough times that you really understand it. Then do your set up properly. As a beginner allow at least half a day.
