Onkyo HT-R591 sound issues (and other)

Hello,

I own a HT-S5500 since a about 8 years and I'm very happy with it.

But recently it started to have some issues :

When I switch it on, it takes longer and longer for the sound to come. It seems to be stuck on PCM before switching to Dolby Digital (and Pro-Logic IIx).
Also, the buttons in the front are acting strangely : when I push TV/CV for example, it switch to FM and Aux switch to TV/CD, etc.....

Do you have an idea ? What can I do (if there's anything to do) ? Or do I have to buy a new receiver ?

Between the slow switching of codecs and the incorrect input switching, sounds like time for a new receiver, these sort of units aren't consumer-serviceable or even sometimes repair-shop serviceable as often parts aren't available on such old units. Couldn't tell you what particularly is happening, altho it sounds like aging relays for the codec switching issue....

Solve the problem this weekend : bought Yamaha RX-A2A : AMAZING BEAST !!! ;-)
