Onkyo DX-1500 Transport

Well... it's a transport from an Onkyo DX-1500:

Has the laser lens, drive motors, and the black plastic base.
All you have to do is bolt it in, and plug it in.

The possibly bad: The DX-1500 never worked; I think the main board was faulty. So this transport could be good or bad. However, it opened and closed, and the laser moved up and down (I don't recommend looking at a laser with your bare eye like I did). (I think that the tray micro-switch might be bad... but it's a fairly easy fix if it is bad)

So... if you are still interested, I'll give it to you for the mere price of shipping the transport. I'd say probably no more than $10 to ship it via USPS if they will.

Or if you are in the state of Indiana, I can possibly meet you somewhere to drop it off.

I do not offer a warranty on this part; it's used and as-is.
I can ship via any method as long as a carrier will take the physical dimension of the box (which shouldn't be a problem, except for USPS perhaps).
I'll accept checks, Pay-Pal (if there isn't an added fee, I've never received money from Pay-Pal so I wouldn't know), or if you are local, depending on how far out of my way I have to go, cash. If you are local to me, it will be free.

Perhaps someone could use that to make one of these bad boys! Yeah, the DVD laser is different, but it might work. $10 well spent!

umm... I don't think that will work. I think you have to have a DVD Burner diode.
Not to mention the ones on CD players aren't that bright.... but hey, whatever.
