I have a 2 year old who likes playing with the remote. My wife just lets my kid play with it as long as my kid is not going after my wife's cell phone. Anyway, I know my daughter hits random buttons and now all my DVDs play in Black and White...I have no idea what to do. I've gone through the owner's manual like crazy. Can someone help me?

It's a probably a setting in the expert mode of the OSD.

If all else fails, you can reset the unit by holding the "Stop" button on the front panel when pressing the "Standby/On" button to turn on the player. It will clear all of your settings though.

Yes. When the unit is off, hold the stop button when turning it on.

Outside of resetting the box like you two are discussing, you could also check the setting for the Chroma Level. That setting is discussed on page 69 of this electronic version of the owner's manual.
