Got them both because Onkyo (first choice) did not play one CD-R...
Got the Tascam CD-200 and it played it..
Guess which is the keeper?
The sound is identical to my ears, Onkyo C-7030 looks nicer, but the Tascam seems to have a better laser..
I've heard that Tascam could be more reliable..?
Heard of number of complaints about Onlyo's reliability, so I hope the Tascam will last longer too.
Too bad that offshore manufacturing brings us such a poor quality, even though the design seems to be fine.
