After only 8 months my 886 has let me down. Christmas night started watching Ateam and the Onk lost sound and display went black. Tried reset, tested connections no luck. While moving the unit noticed display would come on but characters were not readable. So I boxed it and shipped to United Radio Service for warranty repair. Anyone had experience with them? They apparently do all of Onkyos refurbs.

Yes bought it from accessories4less. They advised me to ship to United for repair.

Got a call from United Radio Service on Monday (1-10). The repair on my 886 is in process and they will give me another update on friday.

The only United Radio Service I know is in upstate NY. If that's the one they do an excellent job.

Got my 886 back from the repair center today. Hooked up and appears to be working great. One month turnaround on the repair and they called me every friday with an update. Very pleased with their service.
