Onkyo 875/PS3 - Buzzing from speakers after using Audessey

I posted this in avsforum but I'm reposting here as audioholics is "home".

I recently purchased an Onkyo 875 to go along with my PS3. I used a sound meter to manually adjust the speaker levels. Everything worked fine.

Today, I ran a the Audessey setup and I've been noticing a strange buzzing noise. The buzz only occurs when I first start playing music from the HDD on the PS3.

I've set the 875 to automatically play 2CH music in Stereo mode, so it looks like when the 875 is trying to change from Multichannel to Stereo, that's when the buzz occurs. There's no buzz otherwise. It sounds perfectly fine once the listening mode is changed.

The strange thing is that this only occured after I ran Audessey. Is there some kind of bug with Audessey setup in the 875?

Note that I'm running one of the older firmware versions (I don't have access to Reon options) so I'm hoping this was fixed in a newer firmware?

Anybody else have this problem?
