ONKYO 806 Audyssey SETUP HELP

I'm trying to run Audyssey setup in my Onkyo 806. I have a 5.1 system (Mirage Omni Sat speakers, Outlaw Audio sub) I have the rear surrounds connected to the SBR & SBL. The Audyssey tone stops at the SBR speaker and gives me a speaker detect error. Changed speakers, wire connections, etc, basically eliminated wiring or speaker issues. What am I doing wrong. Audyssey won't run after the error.

SBR and SBL = surround back left/right speakers.

You have your surrounds connected to the incorrect speaker terminals.

Where then R L side ?

Uh. Surr L and Surr R.

Tell your receiver that the REARS are disconnected/off. This way, at the very least, you can have rear info from tracks downmixed to your side surrounds.

Read the manual. PLEASE.
