I have had my 805 for 6 weeks. I have ; oppo dvd/sacd/dvd-audio via hdmi, thoshiba hd-ai via hdmi, 2 cd mega changers a turntable hd dvr all running through it. It does an AMAZING job with everything I have playing through it.
I am not concerned about the heat issue. I have bipolar speakers which can be a little tricky to configure. The audyssey really helped dial them in. No offense to my 6 year old yamaha but this thing blows it out of the water...
