Thanks for the info. I guess I should clarify the question a bit too.... I think I want the Onkyo 608 because it fits my budget range and I really want a nice set of floor speakers too. I saw the 70's were on sale at New Egg and thought they would be great. I just am not sure if the 608 will be able to push them well enough since I saw some people were using amps. I am setting up a home theater for around $2000 and would like to spend about half on audio. The space is an "L" shaped basement and the section I will use is about 18 x 27 with the back kind of opening into the unused half.
Do you think I should still consider the 70's or go a bit smaller and get a good sub? Thinking about getting some smaller Polks for rear surround. Also thought about the Onkyo 9300 htib but if I'm right, the individual Polk set up would sound better?????
Thanks again for any help.....
I thought the PSW505 would be great but I don't know if I should use that much of my budget on it.
