I will soon be in the market for a new home theater system as my Kenwood receiver dying an unfortunately slow death. I have been planning on getting the Onkyo 601. I have seen it for as low as $249 at ecost refurb. Current low price is new for $331 at onecall. I was told yesterday at circuit city that the 602 will soon be out, and is now at ecost for $499. I don't want to spend much more than $300 since I know I can get a great receiver for this price. Also, should I stray away from the refurbs. or go with it since onkyo is a great company?
Any suggestions or opinions are welcome.
