Onkyo 308 and tracks in Hd

Hi,
My system is: Onkyo sr-tx308 kit 5.1 Yamaha ns-p110 and Ps3 Slim
Ps3 in Hdmi Bitstream output audio
With blu ray film such as Avatar, Dark Knight, fast and Furious and other movie there are no differences between tracks in Hd and not hd.
Same sound?
Why?
A reason is the old Kit 5.1 yahama?
Please help me to understand the mistery.

What age is it, and does it have the codecs, Dolby True HD and DTS Master HD.

If it does not then that is the reason for your problem.

The other possibility is that your speakers do not have enough resolution to tell the difference.

The Amply is new and have all the new codecs. Is 3d Ready.
Kit 5.1 is five years old.

With a speaker system like that you won't hear a difference. What are you using that kit thing for?

My old Ampli Htr-6030 Yamaha were sold with this Kit. Now i sell the Ampli Yamaha and use the Kit.
In this day get off the window this kit.

You have to explain a lot better how you have it hooked up. You need to tell us exactly what is connected to what, and how.

Ps3 Slim hooked up With hdmi cable to Ampli, Ps3 in Bitstream.
Ampli Hooked up with hdmi cable to Tv.
Turn on Ampli, start tv and Ps3.
Load a film As Avatar.
Tracks Dts Master Hd ugual to Dts track Italian.
No difference.
Indeed, the Italian track seems more high volume.

There are variations in the soundtracks when they are mastered. DTS tracks usually sound more dynamic than Dolby Digital. Even people with more expensive systems don't here much difference between the old/new codecs.

I thought at least to change the two front speakers.
At least for more dynamic
