Has anyone heard of this company or where they came from? I listened to a demonstration of them at CES 2008 and was very impressed.
I listened to several demonstrations of speakers that were gigantic in size and priced at over $15K PER speaker. They were loud and looked very nice but the sound quality and imaging just simply was not there. I have some 15 year old Polk Audio bookshelf speakers in my office at work that sound better than some of these $30K/pair systems.
But I was very impressed with some company called One Sound or OneSound or One|Sound or One Sound Audio or something like that. They had a set of small-sized speakers that were way out-performing the $30K/set speakers down the hall at CES. There was a unique method of using a small sized floor driver and an elevated midrange/high separate (wall mounted) to augment the sound stage. Anyone else on here visit them at CES-2008?
The president (at least I think that is what he said) of the company giving the demonstration made some comment about them going for about two grand retail (not sure if that is per channel or for the pair). Either way, I am going to be watching out for them.
