One Shot Deal what to do???

I have a friend who works at a electronics store and is moving. He gave one shot to get something at a employee discount. I already have a fairly complete system. Im trying to think of what would be best money spent. Im currently considering upgrading my dvd player. I looking at a 3910 for about 2910 price. I have about 1000 to spend which puts me in the dvd player line conditioner, accy type catagory.
I am currently with this gear.

I don't know what store your friend works at, but at a lot, speakers have a much higher mark-up than electronics. If you have any interest in upgrading speakers or subs, you may be suprised at the price you can get them at.
