THe Metallica song One has a LOT of bass in it, I noticed my sub was clipping bad, turned it down and noticed the M80 was distorting a bit as well, I had it cranked up really loud (maybe 100db area?), pushing with Outlaw M2200, anyone else that likes that particular Metallica song notice that when they have their system cranked?
Actually I think it might be the mids that are clipping when Lars hits the bass drum...

How would you know? If the signal was clean, that crowd would add about 100% THD!

yes for 99.9% of my listening habits, I am very happy. One day I will upgrade to B&W 803S and then I will be happy with the other .1%

What Metallica song was it?.
"One" from And Justice For All, I had my Radio Shack SPL meter out later replayed it and it was taking the needle to 102-104db when the drum hit. I wonder if its just too much for my speakers at that level?
